Comenz\u00f3 como estudiante de Psicolog\u00eda en DVC. Luego se transfiri\u00f3 a UC Berkeley y obtuvo su t\u00edtulo de grado, pero luego decidi\u00f3 retomar un rumbo distinto, aunque familiar.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u201cMi padre es un exitoso chef pastelero y due\u00f1o de un bar. Mi madre es nutricionista. Sent\u00ed que ya no pod\u00eda posponer m\u00e1s perseguir mi pasi\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Hwang.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Hwang regres\u00f3 a DVC para iniciar su profesi\u00f3n culinaria.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u201cCuando estuve antes en DVC, sol\u00eda comprar comida de la l\u00ednea expr\u00e9s en la ma\u00f1ana y el almuerzo. La calidad de las comidas superaba mis expectativas. Podemos estrechar a\u00fan m\u00e1s los lazos y la conexi\u00f3n con los profesores y entre nosotros\u201d, indic\u00f3 Hwang.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Hwang siente que retribuir a la comunidad es una parte importante de ser un estudiante de DVC.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u201cAntes de la pandemia, era voluntario de los Servicios de Apoyo a Personas con Discapacidades. Apoyaba a otros estudiantes culinarios tomando notas para ellos. Esto se puede agravar si los estudiantes est\u00e1n preocupados sobre d\u00f3nde encontrar\u00e1n su pr\u00f3xima comida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">La Despensa de Alimentos de DVC es un recurso que ofrece un suplemento gratuito de alimentos para todos los estudiantes que lo necesiten.
